The 2nd half of our trip was spent at the Nelson house, where we had so much fun seeing all the family including all the cousins. The festivities included an exciting Christmas pageant with all the kids dressed in costume, a carriage ride at the forum, the traditional candle light service, and lots of other time just hanging out. We also were able to see our friends from college for a night, which was so encouraging to us and fun. During the car ride back, Bradford did miraculously great and cried all of 3 minutes in the 10.5 hours in took us to make the trek home (I think all the musical books and toys helped!) We got home the night before Christmas Eve, exhausted with all the travel, but so thankful for the time with friends and family. Our hearts feel full of gratitude and thankfulness this Christmas for all the many blessings we have received.
