We were sad to say goodbye to our friends yesterday as they headed back to Georgia. We had such a fun time with them, and are so thankful for their friendship. Here are a few final pictures of the time we had with them:
The men enjoyed experimenting with their facial hair. Both went from beard, to partial beard, to mustache…
Inspired my sister-in-law, Sarah, who makes the best ice cream sandwiches, we went a little crazy and made 6 different combinations using 2 types of cookies and 3 different ice creams. It was quite the experiment that turned into ideas and dreams of starting our own ice cream sandwich shop…we’ll see!
We had a lot of fun going to our first Marlins game, and realized that it was a little different experience than going to a Braves game…you can tell by the pictures, the Marlins games are not very well attended:
And we relied on navigator, Ashley, to find us a fun new dinner spot. We now have a go-to, reasonably priced, seafood restaurant, which was exactly what we wanted to find. We liked the restaurant, Hurricane Ali’s, so much that Andy got on-line and wrote a review afterwards…something we have never done. They let you catch your own fish and bring it in for them to cook, and they also will serve your dog with it’s own dog menu including 2 slices of american cheese, 2 slices of bacon, and a dog biscuit for dessert! There were some great photo-ops. too walking around by the intercoastal:
What a fun few days!
