Happy 4 Years!

Sometimes it’s hard to believe we’ve been married for 4 years already, and then I think back about all the transitions we’ve been through and the fact that we have a toddler and another baby on the way, and it seems like 4 years makes sense.  Our anniversary this year was great, and we enjoyed it by doing our favorite thing: just hanging out together.  We got some good beach time as a fam with everyone and then enjoyed a bike ride on these awesome tandem bikes.  This was by far one of the funniest experiences I think we’ve ever had.  In the first 30 seconds, we crashed while trying to make a turn and broke the chain.  After a minor repair to the bike, we headed out with Elizabeth and Scott, laughing a lot while riding this bike together.

Our date that night was perfect!  B man stayed behind with the family, and Andy and I enjoyed a nice dinner on the water, watched the sunset, and enjoyed some delicious frozen yogurt.  We could not have asked for a better day to celebrate 4 awesome years of marriage!

Watermelon, Glow Sticks, and Beach Time

I’m ready for my watermelon:

You think he liked the watermelon?:

Learning to play bags with Riri and Daddy:

The glow stick was a gift from Uncle Scott that B man loved!  Scott gave us a couple to take home, which we are very thankful for…these definitely helped entertain B man in the car.

We had a lot of fun beach time.  B man’s favorite thing to do was to play in the buckets of water and dump sand into them.  It was a blast:

Boat Adventure

We had a great time on Wednesday when Pop rented a pontoon boat for the day.  B man had a great time on the boat learning how to steer the wheel, fishing for the first time, and jumping off the side into the bay.

Hannah, Fiona, and Elizabeth:

Riri helped keep Bradford entertained with some Vitamin water.  To say he loved it would be an understatement.  He is currently infatuated with anybody’s drink, ice, straws, cups, etc…

Herron Beach Vacation

We had a great time at Port St. Joe with the whole family last week.  We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to stay, more perfect weather, or better company.   It was so much fun all being together and getting some really fun beach and pool time.  Here are some pictures to re-cap:

B man loved the pool.  This was the best designed pool for little kids I’ve ever been to.  He had his own runway and would fearlessly run from the fence into the water and dive into us.  It was awesome:

16 months and 27 weeks

Little guy #1:  B man is currently 16 months… what a fun, fun age.  I’m amazed every day by watching B man’s little brain absorb and understand new information and develop more into a toddler than our little baby.  He is so much fun and is fully on the go all the time.  16 months has brought with it a few new words: “bubbles”, “bath” (sounds more like aba-), “quack, quack” (says the ducky- he learned this quickly as we have a ton of ducks in our new neighborhood), “all done,” and “up, please” (sounds like upty).  He is running, which brings many more falls, and exploring all things that are on his level.  And some of his current favorite things are pushing things around the house- esp. one specific trash can, talking on the phone, being thrown around on the bed, and still playing in the back yard.  What a fun age!

Little guy #2: Our 2nd guy is currently 27 weeks and doing very well.  I’ve had no complications, thus far, and keep praying for that to be true the rest of the pregnancy.  He is moving around a ton, I’m scared to admit, even more than B man did!  So maybe B man will have someone just as active as he is to play with soon.  Besides being pretty hot most of the time, me and the little guy are doing just fine!

Golf Lessons with Dad

We have loved our new back yard and all the space is provides for running, playing, swimming in the copter pool, playing with the hose, throwing the ball with Dean Dog, and for hitting golf balls.  Andy decided to start young with B man and go ahead and give him some lessons, and it was super cute to watch how much B man enjoyed it!
