A little of what we’ve been up to…

We’re settling into fall over here, which for us is really just an extended summer.  These past couple of weeks have been busy with a bunch of church events and programs getting started up, but the boys and I have enjoyed our time at home as well.  Here are a few recent pictures of them…

Chaz turned from baby to mini-toddler boy overnight, which is funny because he has just recently started to refer to himself as “baby.”  Whenever he wants something, he points to himself and says “baby, baby.”:

Bradford making home-ade “slime,” which turned out to be a really fun project for both of us:

And we’ve been doing lots of playing outside:

The Fort

A few months ago, our brother-in-law, Scott, gave us an awesome parachute.  We’ve had a lot of fun with it lately creating extensive forts in our living room.  I left for a couple of hours one morning, and came home to our living room transformed into a fort for Andy and the little boys.  There’s not a whole lot of things more fun for little (and big) boys than playing in a fort on a rainy Saturday morning:

Saturday morning Fun

These pictures are from a couple of weekends ago, but I thought they were too cute not to share.  These boys are happiest when they get to wrestle with Daddy, and well B Man was content to watch from the laundry basket this morning while the 1-year olds had their fun…

Chaz’s 1st Birthday

We had a great time celebrating Chaz’s birthday.  Unfortunately, we had to cancel the party we had planned for him due to a case of hand, foot, mouth disease.  He was feeling a lot better on his birthday though, so he was still able to have a great day.  We celebrated with Riri and Pop by having a day filled with his favorite things: swimming in the pool, going to the beach, getting a few new toys (which Bradford was pretty excited about), and eating  his favorite foods.  It was a great day, which Bradford was able to express well when at the end of the day he said, “Thanks, Cheese for having your birthday!”
