Weekly Update

Our sweet Sam turned a month old today!  What a fun month it has been welcoming him into the family and getting to know him.  B and C are loving having Baby Sam around, and have done really well with the transition so far.  Here are some pictures from the past week.

Sam in his tie-shirt, made by Aunt Emily.  I love it that I have a picture of all 3 boys in this shirt:DSC_0062 DSC_0066 These 2 ready for church on Sunday:DSC_0073 DSC_0078 DSC_0081 DSC_0084 We were so excited to have Pop come back down to visit with us for the weekend.  The boys kept him busy playing golf outside, doing bubbles, and having lots of fun together.  They love their Pop, and we are all thankful for the time we got with him.DSC_0086 DSC_0088 DSC_0094 Mr. Sam has started giving the sweetest smiles:DSC_0099 DSC_0101 DSC_0102 We took the boys strawberry picking with Pop and Riri, and everyone had a great time.  The boys loved seeing all the animals, and of course, picking anything off of bushes is always a good time.DSC_0110 DSC_0113 DSC_0115 DSC_0118 DSC_0125 DSC_0128 DSC_0129 DSC_0132 DSC_0133 DSC_0136 DSC_0144 DSC_0145 DSC_0147 Sam enjoyed the experience by sleeping in the stroller the whole time:DSC_0149 DSC_0154We’ve had a blast this past week with these boys.  Although we were all sad today when we had to say goodbye to Pop and Riri for now.  We sure are all going to miss having them around.  The boys and I loved seeing Riri every day this past month, and were sad to send her back up to Georgia.  She was such an incredible help, and got us through the first month of having a newborn by jumping right in and doing laundry, cleaning, cooking, coming up with fun activities for the boys, running errands, and the list goes on…  Thank you Riri for all your help, and for spending time with us over the past month.  We will miss having you here!!

  1. Great pics and even greater memories! I miss you all so much! The boys are a blast, so funny and genuine and sweet, and remind me of all that’s good in life. And Mom and Dad are doing a great job. So proud of your sweet family!
