A few of Chazzy’s favorite things

We spent some time at a water park yesterday and had so much fun with the boys.  Chazzy was sitting with me for a few minutes while finishing up his snack and this was the conversation we had.  It was too cute to not document it.

I started asking him what some of his favorite things were and these were his responses:

Favorite thing to do: “Pay” (play)

A few days in Jasper, GA…

We had the opportunity to spend a few days up in Jasper, Ga a couple of weeks ago.  Andy was asked to speak at a conference for a group of students from Miami that would be traveling up to north Georgia to kick off their school year at a week-long camp they call Warrior Week.  We decided to take the boys and try out being alongside Andy as he spoke…so we loaded up the family (including Dean Dog who spent her time at my parents house), and headed north.  Turns out, the place we stayed was beautiful and in the middle of the mountains.  Each day, I was reminded of God’s power and might in making such beautiful scenery.  We had a great time as a family as the boys explored woods, nature, played in a fun creek, and were able to watch Daddy speak to “the teenagers.”  Andy did a great job speaking, and we made some really fun memories together on the trip.

Chaz is 2!!

We got to celebrate our sweet Chazzy turning 2 this month while we were in Georgia.  This boy is so fun!  He is such a sweet boy who loves to snuggle, but also has a rough and tumble side to him.  One minute he wants to curl up on the couch and “snuggin,” what he calls snuggling, but then the next he is running at full speed with Bradford and climbing everything in sight.  He can throw it down right now when he doesn’t get his way, but will still melt my heart a few minutes after a tantrum when he just wants to be held.  He’s talking a ton and narrates the things that he’s doing which is just so adorable.  He loves his brothers, and wants to do just about everything Bradford does.  It’s hard to believe he is 2 already.  He’s a gift to our family, and brings so much life and joy to us each day.

We’re Back…

After taking a few months off of blogging, we are back.  The summer has held a lot of fun memories for us, and I’m hoping over the next few weeks to get caught up on documenting some of what has gone on.  Over the past 4 months, we’ve traveled, spent a lot of time outside playing in the pool, dealt with Chazzy breaking an arm, sent Andy to Mexico, celebrated some birthdays, lost Andy’s grandfather, spent time with family, met our newest niece and traveled a lot in the car.  It’s been eventful, stretching, and fun.  Stay tuned for some more pictures and fun stories about the boys.
