Pumpkin carving, and Halloween as Thomas and James

The boys have been a lot of fun this year in Halloween festivities.  They are old enough now to understand that we get pumpkins and candy and they get to dress up in costume, and it’s all so fun and exciting to them right now. We had a lot of fun visiting the pumpkin patch, painting our pumpkins, and then working with Daddy to carve the “big” pumpkin that B man was very proud to pick out.

The costume selection was not difficult.  They made it very clear who they wanted to be.  I asked about a month ago who they wanted to dress up as, and Chazzy never wavered in his desire to be “Thomas” from Thomas the Train.  Bradford picked “James,” one of Thomas’ friends, and they have been so cute with their costumes.  They have played in them, and already worn them out!  Here they are with a few of their little buddies from our small group:DSC_0311 The first day the costumes arrived, they kept them on until the very last minute which I thought was so cute.  They even brushed their teeth in them!  So, tonight we are looking forward to taking some more pictures and doing a little trick-or-treating with Thomas and James.
